Lathan Warlick and RaeLynn are celebrating strong, hardworking women in their new collaboration, “Roots.” The singers teamed up for the track, which will be featured on Warlick’s upcoming project.
“They don’t never give you credit when the credit is due / And you don’t have to have the compliments to know that it’s true / You walk around like your confident in what you got goin / Like a boss ‘cause you already know that it’s you,” they sing proudly in the up-beat, throbbing track.

“I got some amazing women in my life. So it’s time to shine some light on those hardworking, powerful women who are still holding it down,” the rapper shared in a recent press release. “They are blessed with some good ‘roots.’”
“I’ve really loved working with Lathan on this project,” added RaeLynn in excitement. “He is an authentically great artist and an amazing human that is so grounded and real. I can’t wait to hear what the world thinks of this song!”
Accompanying the power-packed collaboration is a brand new music video (watch it above). The vibrant clip, directed by Austin Peckham, was filmed in Nashville, TN and features the singers gearing up with their respective crews to throw down together in an all out dance battle.
