Lauren Alaina Attends Her Senior Prom

She may be used to attending red carpets and award shows, but that doesn’t mean Lauren Alaina doesn’t still get excited about dressing up…especially when it’s for her high school prom!
The “Georgia Peaches” singer, who attended her senior prom on Saturday (3/23), woke up bright and early that morning so she could start getting ready for the night. She took to Twitter to let her fans know that she’d be celebrating the beginning of the end of her high school career saying, “Today is going to be a good day. It’s my senior prom.”
Since Lauren was so busy, her mother, Kristy Suddeth, made sure to keep her fans updated on what was happening throughout the day. As Lauren was getting ready, Suddeth posted pictures of her daughter’s nails, shoes and makeup. At the end of the day, she also shared photos of Lauren in her dress and her date (and presumably new boyfriend), Alex. Check out the photos below…

The 18-year-old singer missed her junior prom last year due to being on tour with Sugarland. She ended up crashing a prom while on the road.
Lauren is currently working on the follow-up to her debut album, Wildflowers. No release date or single have been announced.
