Lauren Alaina Forced to Cancel Tonight’s Concert Performance
Get well soon wishes are going out to Lauren Alaina tonight. The American Idol alum was forced to cancel her “American Idols Live” tour appearance tonight in Baltimore, Maryland after visiting the doctor this afternoon. Alaina took to her Twitter to announce the news.
“Hey y’all,” she tweeted. “I just left the doctor and I have severe bronchitis. Therefore I’m not gonna be performing tonight. I’m really sorry:(“
This isn’t the first time Alaina has ended up at the doctor on this tour. Last month, the “Like My Mother Does” singer sprained her ankle while performing in Portland, Oregon.
Alaina and the rest of the American Idol top 11 are scheduled to appear on ABC’s “Good Morning America” tomorrow. As of now, there’s no word on if Alaina will perform on GMA or not.
