Rising country star Lauren Duski is sharing new music with fans by the release of her debut EP, Midwestern Girl. The five-song release features two fans favorites “Costume Party” and “Heart Hurt Good.”

The songs, Duski explained, are an inside look at her life at home and what she’s been working so hard on since her appearance on NBC’s The Voice.

“Over the last year and a half, I have been writing nonstop. I wanted this EP to represent what my life has looked like,” she told Digital Journal. “I wanted to make sure that the songs I picked were as honest as ‘Costume Party’. I am really excited since this EP represents all parts of my life: a lot of change and a lot of self-discovery. Finally, being in peace with who I am. These songs are a blueprint of my life.”

2019 is shaping up to be a big year for the singer. In addition to debuting her new music, Duski was named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country and landed on Sounds Like Nashville’s Ones to Watch list.

Midwestern Girl is available for purchase or streaming now.
