LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian are set to appear on the series premiere of “Interiors, Inc,” a new HGTV interior design series. Rimes and Cibrian called upon interior designer Jonathan Pierce to fully furnish their Chicago condo. Rimes previously worked with Pierce on her homes in Nashville and Los Angeles.

“We started talking and (Rimes) said ‘I need you to help me do this place in Chicago – I just need it for a few months,’” Pierce tells the Chicago Tribune. “I said ‘No problem. Will you (appear) on my show?’ She was like ‘Done.’”

According to the newspaper, Pierce shopped for items at Nordstrom Rack, Barneys New York and West Elm. He also spent three to four hours shopping with Rimes at the Golden Triangle.

“She wanted it to feel like the homes she has lived in, but more metropolitan,” said Pierce, who designed the condo with his team in August 2011. “She has this beautiful taste in Tibetan antiques and modern paintings. She has a very eclectic love of European design. I kept the palette I worked with her on in her other homes and edged it up. I made it feel cozy and warm for the Chicago winters.”

Unfortunately, Rimes and Cibrian didn’t make it to see winter in Chicago. The newlyweds moved to the Windy City so that Cibrian could tape “Playboy Club,” which was cancelled after only a three episodes aired. The couple moved back to Los Angeles a short time later.

The episode featuring Rimes will air Saturday, January 28 at 9:30pm EST on HGTV.

Rimes isn’t the only country singer who will appear on the show. Danny Gokey will also be featured during the first season of “Interiors, Inc.”
