LeAnn Rimes Wins Season Four of ‘The Masked Singer’

Season four of the mystery-and-music filled show The Masked Singer wrapped up last night (December 16), and one of country’s own came out on top. Vocal powerhouse LeAnn Rimes was unmasked as the winner, having shined bright all season as The Sun.
“The secret is out and I can’t wait to FINALLY be able to talk to you about my time as #TheSun on @maskedsingerfox,” Rimes posted after the big reveal. “I’ve seen your sweet messages and dm’s over these past few months and wanted to respond so many times. Thank you for the support and LovE! I have absolutely had the best time shining some light in the world during a time of darkness.”
Making it to the final round against The Crocodile and The Mushroom, Rimes was declared the winner after wowing judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. She had put her acclaimed vocals on display all season covering current hits like Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” and Billie Eilish’s “When The Party’s Over,” among others, and absolutely beamed as the secret was revealed.
The runner-up Fox’s The Masked Singer Season four was Aloe Blacc (The Mushroom), and pop singer Nick Carter took home third-place as The Crocodile.
On top of her big win, LeAnn Rimes just released a new single titled “Throw My Arms Around the World,” and plans to unmask a studio album in May of 2021.
