Lindsay Ell Makes a Walmart Run to Buy Keith Urban’s New Album

Lindsay Ell made some of her wildest dreams come true when she landed a feature on Keith Urban’s latest album. Making her life even more exciting was the emotional visit to Walmart to purchase a copy (or three) out of celebration over the collaboration.

The country singer braved the late-night release date to head over to the superstore to get her hands on the album rather than just the downloadable link. Ell fan-girled from the moment she stepped foot in the door and made her way quite quickly to the display in the electronics section to buy the project that she contributed to.

“When you are so excited for the new @keithurban album to come out…. you show up at #Walmart early…..#GraffitiU is now out!!!! I particularly am a fan of the song #Horses,” Ell wrote to preview the social media clip.

It was a life-changing moment for Ell, who has always remained such a big fan and close friend of Urban throughout her career. The “Criminal” singer even bought a couple records for her loved ones at home, to celebrate the accomplishment with all of her excitement.

“Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, guys, look at that! That’s crazy…that’s so crazy. I’m gonna cry,” Ell says as she continually picks up more copies.

Unfortunately, she ended up empty-handed since Ell and her team got to the store before midnight hit and she had to just savor the moment in her mind rather than walk away with the albums.

While Ell finds her own voice on “Horses,” other artists also made the cut to record with Urban on this album cycle. Singer/songwriter Julia Michaels found her way to a track called “Coming Home,” and rising country star Kassi Ashton made a bold statement with her vocal on “Drop Top.” Even a cameo from Shy Carter comes about on the song, “My Wave.”

Graffiti U is available in stores and digitally now.
