Temecula Road is ‘Hoping’ for some summer lovin’ in their brand new single.

The country trio, consisting of Dawson Anderson and sisters Maddie and Emma Salute, spread their optimistic view for love in the upbeat country-pop track. Gaining both perspectives of the guy and the girl in the midst of falling in love thanks to a trade-back vocal, Temecula Road narrates the anticipation building between crushes romanticizing about one another.

Written by Jimmy Robbins, Heather Morgan and Mike Daly, the trio encapsulates the sweet nothings that arise on a first date when the nerves are high and yet the feelings are as genuine as they’re ever going to be in a relationship. Temecula Road nails the carefree attitude towards new love in their laid-back and lighthearted vocals over the sweet ode.

Temecula Road always provides a happy spin on their music, as heard in songs like “What If I Kissed You” to their harmonized cover of The Chainsmokers’ “Closer.” They recently performed a handful of these songs live in the Bud Dome at CMA Fest, and Sounds Like Nashville documented their weekend activities along the way.

“Hoping” is available on streaming services now.
