Little Big Town Attends Kentucky Derby
Little Big Town headed to Louisville, KY last weekend for the running of the 136th annual Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby horse races. The Platinum selling quartet was tapped to sing the National Anthem at the Kentucky Oaks race which was held on Friday, April 30 at Churchill Downs.
The group, who wrapped their latest video shoot for their current single “Little White Church” late Thursday night, arrived in Kentucky Friday morning to kick-off the Derby festivities on what locals call “Oaks Day.” After singing the National Anthem, the group got a chance to take in all the sites at the famed racetrack and even attend the prestigious Barnstable Brown party which raises money for diabetes research.
LBT’s single “Little White Church,” from their upcoming new album, The Reason Why, is Top 25 and climbing.
Little Big Town will hit the road on the Country Throwdown Tour on May 14 in Tampa, Florida.
