Little Big Town - CMA Fest Hosts- CountryMusicIsLove

Little Big Town is set to host tonight’s three-hour “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” special on ABC. The show, now in its 10th year, brings all of the fun, music, and excitement of the CMA Music Festival to the homes of millions of fans across America each year.

Little Big Town, who has participated in the event several times over the years, is excited to take on the role of hosting the show for the first time. It was intimidating a bit at first, but the award-winning quartet was up for the challenge.

“It was something we’ve never done. We’ve hosted radio specials and things like that, and parties where the band has been a host of something, but never a national TV show,” LBT’s Karen Fairchild tells CountryMusicIsLove. “We get to enjoy the energy of CMA Fest every year. We understand there’s nothing like it in the world. When you step out on that stage it’s insane to have sixty thousand country music fans screaming back at you. We knew if we were doing the hosting, the energy had to be up and we wanted it to just be exciting and captivating for the watcher.”

In addition to hosting tonight’s show, LBT will take the stage for a performance of “Your Side of The Bed” and another “special performance” with Sheryl Crow.

The special, which will feature performances by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and many, many more, is a must-see.

“There’s lots of good music,” Fairchild promises. “We got to watch side stage every night and the crowd loved the way the show turned out.”

Tune in to ABC tonight at 8/7c to watch “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock.”
