Smiles are contagious and make the world go ‘round, so Little Big Town brought in some of the brightest grins they could find to spread a little joy in their new music video for “Happy People.”
The band rounded up people of all ages to simply send the message of carefree living by just giving off their biggest laugh or looking cheerful in whatever way possible. From brothers and sisters acting silly to couples passionately in love with one another, Little Big Town shows off the idea that it’s all about the little things that make a life radiant.
As a quartet, Little Big Town makes a few cameos shining brightly alongside their numerous delighted co-stars as they sing along to their effortless lyrics. Kimberly Schlapman’s two little girls Daisy and Dolly charm their time in front of the camera as well as Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook’s son Elijah eats up the spotlight to give cheerfulness a go. Phillip Sweet’s lovely daughter Penelopi also brilliantly steals a couple seconds in her neon pink ensemble. Even songwriter Shane McAnally’s twins Dylan and Dash provide some star power as they dance around and look absolutely adorable together.
At the end of the day, the video for “Happy People” conveys exactly that: no matter where you are in the world or who you want to be, everyone can agree on the fact that striving towards happiness is what life is truly all about.
“’Happy People’ setting off the record, to me, is the perfect sentiment for what’s going on in the world right now and the things that are important, for us anyway. I hope it brings some happiness to people right now in what feels like a very chaotic time,” Fairchild told Sounds Like Nashville and other media during an past event.
Little Big Town continues to take over 2017 with their residency at the Ryman Auditorium spread throughout the year. Fans can find availability for dates and tickets online.
