Little Big Town is in great spirits as they just won the CMA Award for Vocal Group of the Year!

The group has had such an awesome year in their career opening for Luke Bryan on his Kill the Lights Tour, releasing the first single, “Better Man,” off their forthcoming album, The Breaker, and receiving the award is just icing on the cake.

“We sat at home and watched so many of you on our tv’s as kids. We idolized you and so wanted to be here, thank you Jesus,” gushed Kimberly Schlapman.

“I remember watching Barbra Mandrell win Entertainer of the Year and I was like, ‘Oh my God dang a chick just won Entertainer of the Year,” Karen Fairchild added. “We love you country music.”

This marks LBT’s fifth consecutive win in this category.

Other groups nominated for the CMA Vocal Group of the Year included Lady Antebellum, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.

The 50th Annual CMA Awards are hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. See everything that went down during tonight’s show HERE.
