Live Nation Expands “No Service Fee Wednesday”
Live Nation is expanding its “No Service Fee Wednesday” plan.
Last Wednesday, Live Nation held its first “No Service Fee Wednesday” which dropped the fees on all lawn tickets.
According to the Associated Press, the first 24-hour discount Wednesday drove lawn ticket sales up six-fold to a single-day record, so they decided to expand the plan
The the ticket giant will drop ALL service fees starting this Wednesday. So you will now be able to purchase lawn tickets and reserved seating without paying the service fee.
Live Nation will continue to charge $6 on every ticket for parking at some venues, while other venues still incur a $3-$4 facility fee.
On average, concert-goers will save about $10 on lawn tickets and $14 on reserved tickets.
