Local Crew Involved in Accident After Working Luke Bryan Concert

This morning, reports filed in stating that members of Luke Bryan’s crew had been airlifted to Syracuse-area hospitals following a terrible car accident.

Despite initial reports, Sounds Like Nashville has confirmed with the singer’s management that the men were part of a locally hired crew and not part of Bryan’s Nashville-based crew.

Syracuse.com reports that the accident happened Sunday morning when the men’s vehicle went airborne, hit a tree and landed in a ditch off State Road 13, north of Alpine Junction. The three men were airlifted to hospitals in Syracuse and Sayre. One of the men was outside of the vehicle when crews arrived, while the other two were freed after rescuers used the Jaws of Life.

The men, who were reportedly on their way home to West Virginia when the accident occurred, had been working to rig the lights on Saturday night at Bryan’s Kill the Lights concert at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured men and their families at this time.
