"I am getting stronger every day and can’t wait to get back out there with all of you. I’m just letting everybody know that Willie ain’t dead yet and neither am I, and I can’t wait to see all of you on the road!”

Our prayers are with Loretta Lynn as she continues to recover from a stroke that occurred in May. In a post on Facebook, the legendary singer revealed that she is pushing back the release of her upcoming album, Wouldn’t It Be Great.

“Thank you so much for all of your prayers, love, and support. I’m happy to say that I’m at home with my family and getting better by the day! My main focus now is making a full recovery so that I can get back to putting all of me into what I love, sharing my music with all of you,” read the statement posted to Lynn’s Facebook.

“My new album, Wouldn’t It Be Great, was originally scheduled to come in August this year. I now want to wait to release it next year because this record is so special for me,” she continues. “It deserves me at my best and I can’t wait to share it. I want to thank everyone for hanging in there with me. I am getting stronger every day and can’t wait to get back out there with all of you. I’m just letting everybody know that Willie ain’t dead yet and neither am I, and I can’t wait to see all of you on the road!”

In addition, The Tennessean reports that her publicist confirmed that all of her remaining 2017 tour dates, including two nights at the Ryman Auditorium, have been canceled so she can focus on a full recovery.

Not much has been heard from the singer since her brother, Herman Webb, revealed that Lynn was regaining mobility on her left side and was talking.

“She can talk, and Loretta told me that she thought she’s going to be okay,” Webb shared with Closer Weekly. “Her left side was kind of paralyzed, but [she can get around by] herself now, she just has to use a walker. She seems to be coming along pretty good. She’s doing really good — that’s the main thing!”

Just weeks prior to her health crisis, Loretta Lynn played two sold-out shows in Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium to celebrate her 85th birthday.
