Superstar Luke Bryan has made it to the top of the charts for the 24th time in his career, scoring another Number One hit with “What She Wants Tonight.”

Co-written by Bryan with Ross Copperman, Hillary Lindsey and Jon Nite, the steamy single sits at the pinnacle of the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts this week, and Bryan says it’s a collaborative success that’s been a long time coming.

“I felt the second we wrote this song it was special,” he says in a statement. “I loved every aspect of it from the melody to the lyric. So fun to enjoy this one with Ross and Jon and I’ve been wanting to have a big hit with Hillary for years!  This is an uncertain time for our country and I’m thankful to the fans who can find an escape with music. Let’s continue to look out for each other!”

“What She Wants Tonight” follows Bryan’s previous single and last Number One, “Knockin’ Boots,” both of which are part of his just-released Born Here, Live Here, Die Here album. He recently ordered up another round with the refreshing “One Margarita,” and can be seen now on the (previously recorded) third season of ABC’s American Idol with fellow judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.
