Luke Bryan Kept Busy During Album Release Week
He kicked off the festivities on Monday October 5 with his first ever “Farm Tour” show. The show was held at the Hurricane Branch Plantation in Claxton, Georgia just outside of Statesboro. GAC’s Nan Kelly hosted GAC’s Top 20 Countdown on site at the “Farm Tour.” That night, Bryan performed for 3,500 fans! Monies raised from the show will go to a scholarship fund for students at Georgia Southern University, Bryan's alma mater.
The next day, Luke returned to his hometown of Leesburg, GA to perform for an over-capacity crowd of 4,000 at Leesburg High School’s football field. The town won the concert through an online contest on Eventful.com.
One of our readers, Sarah, attended the show in Leesburg and was nice enough to share some of her GREAT photos with us. She said that Luke’s show was amazing (as always!) and that the highlight of the night was when Luke brought his son Bo out on stage to dance along with him.
I caught one of the album release shows on Friday at the Dallas Bull in Tampa, FL- It was a blast! I swear, his show gets better every time I see it! I’ve said it a million times before and I’ll say it again…if you haven’t seen him live yet, do it, I promise you won’t regret it! His first headling tour kicks off October 30 in Jacksonville, FL. Click HERE to see if he’s coming to a city near you.
Luke’s latest hit single “Do I” has officially cracked the top 10 at country radio and is still climbing. The video for “Do I” has claimed the No. 1 spot on GAC’s Top 20 Countdown for SEVEN consecutive weeks! Blake Shelton currently holds the male record with 9 consecutive weeks at No. 1. Will Luke beat him? Be sure to VOTE daily!
PS: If you haven’t picked up a copy of Doin’ My Thing yet, it’s a must have!!
