Luke Bryan ‘Not Cool Enough To Act Cool’ At Award Shows
After his big win at the ACMs earlier this year Luke Bryan tossed his record label president into a pool…and as he accepted his CMT Music Award in June he threw his jacket into the audience…so what kind of reaction can fans expect from Luke if he wins the CMA for New Artist of the Year at Wednesday’s CMA Awards?
“You’re always excited,” Luke says. “To be an important part of these award shows and then winning, I’m just not cool enough to act cool. I can’t hold that in. I’m not going to walk up there and be all debonair. I’m going to be acting like an idiot. I think people want to feel like they’re winning it, too. I may get up there and pull out some Michael Jackson backspins on the stage at the CMAs if I win.”
