Country superstar Luke Bryan is pushing pause on his signature Two Lane American Golden Lager beer brand, halting production as COVID-19 complications continue.

Making an announcement via social media on Tuesday (September 1), the singer and entrepreneur said his hand was forced. The suds must stop flowing — at least for the time being.

“We know you love Two Lane Lager (almost as much as we love making it), which is why I’m so sorry to say we had to pause production due to COVID-19,” Bryan wrote.

The star popped the top on his new brand back in February, just before the pandemic hit. He created the brew in collaboration with Constellation Brands, aiming for something smooth and super drinkable, and Bryan launched it with a party for media and beverage distributors in Nashville. But with supply chains in chaos from various coronavirus shutdown across the globe, the brand is now temporarily shutting down … although Bryan promises it’ll be back in the Spring.

“This was a difficult decision, but don’t worry, we’ll be back in March, bigger and better than ever,” Bryan wrote. “Love y’all and appreciate your continued support.”
