Add Luke Bryan to the list of stars setting up shop in Las Vegas, as the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year plots a residency series for 2022.

Set for The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas early next year, Bryan’s performance series will give fans an intimate concert experience with an up-close-and-personal feel — and all the anything-is-possible magic Vegas is famous for.

Announcing the headlining showcase on Wednesday (May 12), Bryan notes that his residency shows will be something different for longtime fans … mostly because the setting is so different. Unlike his massive stadium and arena concert tours, The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas holds a relatively small number of fans, and the furthest concertgoers will get away from Bryan is about 150 feet. Those close quarters already have Bryan’s mind spinning with new ideas.

“We are looking forward to putting a show together for the fans in Vegas that will be a unique way to see me in concert, something different than coming to a show on the road,” he says. “When I saw the renderings and all of the state-of-the-art technology that The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas was offering I just knew this was a place I had to headline. I am already working on ideas and set lists for these shows and can’t wait to get in front of the fans on this new playground where I can create a fun and super high energy experience.”

Bryan’s residency is set to include six shows beginning February 11, 2022, and continuing February 12, 16, 18, 19, 20. Tickets for all shows will go on sale to the public starting May 24 at 10 a.m. PST (via AXS.com).

The news comes on the heels of another country superstar making residency plans, as Carrie Underwood revealed the details of her Reflection series in the same theater. It’s all part of a grand opening plan for the new resort, which will also play host to Celine Dion and Katy Perry. Meanwhile, many other country stars have hosted popular Vegas engagements in the past, including Shania Twain, Brooks & Dunn with Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks and more. The trend appears to be picking up steam, with current hitmakers from Keith Urban to Florida Georgia Line taking part in recent years.
