Luke Bryan Postpones Bossier City, LA Show Due to Flooding

After record-breaking flooding, a reported 16 inches of rainfall, Luke Bryan has postponed his stop in Bossier City, LA.

The superstar was set to bring his Kill The Lights Tour to the CenturyLink Center on Saturday, March 12, but has since postponed the concert because of widespread flooding and for the safety of the fans.

Gov. John Bel Edwards has declared a state of emergency for the entire state of Louisiana, including Bossier City. Authories have also ordered the mandatory evacuations of 3,500 homes near the Red Chute Bayou in Bossier City, KTBS.com reports.

The concert has already been rescheduled and tickets will be honored at the new Wednesday, May 18 date.

This isn’t the first time Bryan has battled Mother Nature. He had to reschedule several of his 2015 Farm Tour dates due to flooding in Columbia, SC.
