Luke Bryan Pressured By Blake Shelton
Luke Bryan fans that have seen his live show are farmiliar with his performance of OneRepublic’s “Apologize.” Although he’d been singing the song for well over a year in his show, Luke admits that Blake Shelton may have been the deciding factor in getting the song on his current album, Doin’ My Thing. “We started playing that song about a year and a half ago,” Bryan said. “Fans really responded to it. We had so many fans commenting on it on MySpace, just begging for me to record it. Blake Shelton heard me do it one night at Oakland's Oracle Arena, and he met me at the side of the stage and told me that if I didn't record it he was going to whup my butt. So Blake pushed me over the edge on it.”
Luke is currently out on the road opening shows for Jason Aldean. To view all of Luke’s current tour dates, click HERE.
