Luke Bryan made an exciting announcement Thursday afternoon (1/16) during a live video on Facebook. The Georgia native shared plans for his headlining Proud to Be Right Here 2020 Tour and new album, Born Here, Live Here, Die Here.

Kicking off May 28 in Cincinnati, OH, the tour will include direct support from Morgan Wallen, who Bryan declared as “one of my favorite voices I’ve heard in a long, long time.” Additionally, Caylee Hammack and Runaway June will appear as special guests, with Hammack kicking off the front half of the tour and Runaway June in the second half.

Bryan went on to tease “special surprises” for the tour, including a few unannounced stadium dates and other opening acts.

After his tour announcement, Bryan performed his current single “What She Wants Tonight.” He went on to perform a snippet of “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here,” the title track for his upcoming project. The tour takes its name from a lyric in the new song.

“The second I heard this next song, I knew it was something that I was going to record. It just feels like certainly growing up in my hometown. It feels like just the perfect song to kind of describe the small town, hometown life,” Bryan described of “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here.”

Bryan will release his seventh studio album, Born Here, Live Here, Die Here, on April 24. Each pair of tickets purchased for the tour will include one (1) CD copy of the new record through 11/30/2020.
