Luke Bryan Reacts To Another Top 5 Single, Teen Choice Awards Nomination

Luke Bryan continues his hot streak as his current single “Rain Is A Good Thing” moves into the Top 5 on both the Billboard and Mediabase Country charts and the news of yesterday’s announcement of his first-ever Teen Choice Award nomination in the “Male Country Artist” category. Bryan is nominated alongside fellow artists Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban. The online voting for the awards began yesterday at www.teenchoiceawards.com and the show will air on Fox, August 9.

“2010 has been the best year of my life and its only June!,” exclaimed Bryan. “I am so humbled by my fans who offer me the gift to do what I love.”

Bryan was recently named the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Artist and Top New Solo Vocalist, both fan-voted, and won a CMT trophy for the fan-voted “USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of The Year” for his “Do I” music clip, which was also directed by CMT’s “Video Director of The Year” Shaun Silva. Bryan will hit the road again this weekend opening shows for Sugarland.
