Country superstar Luke Bryan is sharing the story of a romantic summer love in the new music video for his single “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset.”

Featuring a young couple who have found love, the clip follows the duo through a day on the lake with their friends to spending some much needed alone time together for the remainder of the season.

“Sunrise, sunburn, sunset, repeat / Moonlight, all night, crashin’ into me / Nothin’ll ever be easy as you and me / Tangled up and nowhere to be / Just sunrise, sunburn, sunset, repeat,” Bryan croons throughout the clip.

The nostalgic tune, co-written by Zach Crowell, Ryan Hurd and Chase McGill, was one the Georgia native couldn’t resist sending out to radio as he spends his summer out on the road for his What Makes You Country Tour.

“‘Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset’ is, it’s a perfect song in my opinion.  It’s reflective,” he shared. “It talks about love in a summer and summer love. It doesn’t get any better than summer love way back when. And then when you say ‘Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset, Repeat,’ that’s what you do in the summer. You wake up. You go get your tan on, and the sun goes down and you do it over and over.”

While Bryan sings of the summer months, he’s also currently preparing for fall as a returning judge on the ABC reboot of American Idol. The show, which originally aired on FOX, was renewed for a second season with Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie all returning to the judges platform.
