I Do! Luke Combs Marries Nicole Hocking
Combs is a married man!
Luke Combs is officially a married man! The singer wed fiancee Nicole Hocking on Saturday (8/1), he announced on social media.
“Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever,” the singer wrote on Twitter.
“Yesterday was the most special day!! I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you! Although we wish would could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year,” Hocking added on Instagram. “So excited to share more of this day soon. much love!”
In the photos posted with the announcement, the couple look over the moon to finally be husband and wife. Combs traded his normal uniform of a black Columbia button down and shorts for a Navy blue jacket and khaki pants. Hocking looked stunning in a gorgeous white lace gown. The two embraced in front of what appears to be a beach, though the location of the nuptials has yet to be confirmed.

The couple was engaged in November 2018 and according to Combs, his plans for the proposal went out the window quickly. The two were moving and the singer had planned to pop the question after their day was done. But moving the couple’s cats proved to be more difficult than expected.
“The cats do not travel well,” Luke shared on Shawn Johnson East and Andrew East’s podcast, Couple Things. “Her cat peed in the crate and my cat threw up in the crate, so we spent a good part of the morning giving them baths and cleaning them.”
On top of the cats, the house was left a mess and disorganized from the move, causing more stress from the day. But Combs didn’t want to let any of the hiccups keep him from proposing to his longtime love.
“He was like, ‘Okay, I got these new collars with the new address on them, and oh, I also got you this,” recalled Hocking. “And then he pulls [the ring] out and gets down on one knee, does the whole thing. I black out. I don’t remember this.”
The couple shared their engagement news just weeks later with a more relaxed photo from a trip to Hawaii.
