It was all about tacos and tours rather than ‘Hometowns and Highways’ for Luke Pell as he hit the big city of New York for a night to perform in front of his biggest fans over the weekend.

Playing at the famous Highline Ballroom in the Big Apple on Saturday night, Pell prepared himself in a big way with his own unique pre-show routine. He took the followers of Sounds Like Nashville around for a behind-the-scenes look at how he preps for an important concert and gave the takeover a fun spin.

The first stop for the former Bachelor star just had to be Chelsea Market to grub on a Tex-Mex classic. Opting for some street tacos to fuel him for the rest of the day, Pell anticipated the same quality like the Mexican cuisine in both Texas and Tennessee. Carrying on into the next step of the day, fans lined up for a momentous meet-and-greet with the singer as captured through a clever Boomerang gif.

He rooted on side-stage while tour mate Logan Mize rocked out to the huge crowd for the evening, giving him all the praise on his set before taking on his own performance. Dubbing the show as ‘helluva night,’ on one of his captions during the takeover, it seemed as though Pell enjoyed his jam-packed yet brief time in the city.
