Mac McAnally, who recently scored his first No. 1 hit as a performer with Kenny Chesney for “Down The Road”, just landed a record deal with Toby Keith’s record label, Show Dog Records.
“There’s nobody more respected, at least when it comes to musicians and people who really know this business, than Mac McAnally,” Toby says. “There aren’t a lot of guys you put in that category, and I’ve gotten to work with a few. So getting to be a part of whatever Mac wants to do is an honor for me and for everyone at the label.”
McAnally was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007 and won CMA Musician of the Year in 2008.
