When it comes to the rules of what ‘Friends Don’t’ do to other friends, Maddie & Tae know all the answers.

The girl-power duo hit the streets of CMA Music Festival on Sunday (6/10), performing at three separate shows throughout the day and getting to chat with fans out and about in their free time. Kicking off their time on the Chevy Riverfront Stage before moving to the HGTV Lodge and then Happy Hour with SiriusXM at Margaritaville, the two bopped around the downtown area with smiles all aglow over getting to interact with their supporters.

“It’s just so special because we get to meet new fans, but also get to see some of our OG fans, so it’s just fun. And the intimate shows, where it’s a small crowd and we’re all kinda in a small, little space, those are really fun ‘cause it’s so close-up and so personal,” Maddie Marlow said to Sounds Like Nashville.

That’s a wrap #cmafest2018 🎶 ‘til next year!

Taking the time to grab a few of their biggest fans and getting their opinions on what ‘Friends Don’t’ let friends do as a take off their latest release, Maddie & Tae learned some tips and tricks to making sure the friendship level is real. A couple people mentioned that friends would never let others go to CMA Fest alone, while one preached the truth when she said that a true friend does not let one another leave some place when food stuck in their teeth.

According to Marlow just moments after sneezing, friends should not leave one hanging when it comes to saying, ‘bless you,’ following the big achoo. She and Tae Dye high-fived to that notion before sending off and heading to their next event before the day got away from them.

Maddie & Tae just released their newest single, “Friends Don’t,” which is available now.
