Maddie & Tae Member Taylor Dye Is Expecting With Husband Josh Kerr
Congrats to the happy couple!
Some happy news was shared with country fans over the weekend, as Maddie & Tae member Taylor Dye announced she was pregnant. Posting a series of heartwarming photos to social media Sunday (November 21), the 26-year-old hitmaker and her husband, Josh Kerr, will soon be parents … and they also revealed the baby’s gender.
“Baby Kerr is joining us earthside in spring ‘22,” reads three photos of the couple embracing at a small party, with Dye’s baby bump already showing. “We are already so deeply in love.”
In the third photo of the post, the couple bite into pink-frosted pieces of cake while a banner over head spells out “girl,” and that prompted Dye’s fellow Maddie & Tae member replied to with excited joy.
“Thank you Jesus for the biggest blessing!!” wrote Maddie Marlow. “I CANT WAIT TO MEET HER 😭.”
Taylor Dye married hit songwriter Josh Kerr in February of 2020, shortly after her duo parter married husband, Jonah Font. Kerr’s songwriting credits include Kelsea Ballerini’s “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Dibs,” Keith Urban’s “Never Comin’ Down,” Dylan Scott’s “My Girl” and more. Both couples can be seen in the lighthearted music video for Maddie & Tae’s current single, “Woman You Got,” and Dye has said that their new song, “Madness,” was also inspired by the relationship.
In other news, Maddie & Tae were recently tapped as the headliners of the upcoming 2022 CMT Next Women of Country Tour. Kicking off January 6 in Oklahoma City, the CMT Next Women of Country Tour Presents: All Song No Static Tour will also feature Callista Clark and Sacha.
