Maddie & Tae Announces Five-Track EP, ‘One Heart to Another’
This is the first taste of the duo's upcoming sophomore album.
The last several years have been an up-and-down rollercoaster for country duo Maddie & Tae. The women went through a series of trials and triumphs between a number of life-changing moments: from their record label shutting down, to break ups, to engagements to even signing a brand new deal.
Through it all, Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye took the opportunity to learn, grown and write, creating a brand new collection of music with their five-song EP, One Heart to Another. Due out April 26, the project will feature a slew of sons that come straight from the heart and share in their wins and losses since releasing their debut album nearly four years ago.
“This is much more than just a new project for us. It has been our light at the end of tunnel for the past two years. It is about two best friends experiencing the highest of highs, the lowest of lows, and everything in between together. We hope our fans hear the vulnerability, heart break, strength, truth and passion we’ve poured into this. This is only the beginning,” said Marlow in a press release.

“The journey to create this project was long, but beautiful,” added Dye. “We put our heads down and tried to be the best artists we could be. And to us that looked like writing lyrics from a very honest place and sharing them with the hopes that someone out in the world feels less alone. So here is One Heart to Another. From our hearts to yours.”
Ahead of the release, fans can listen to three of the five songs, including “Friends Don’t,” “Die From A Broken Heart” and “Tourist in this Town.”
The One Heart to Another EP is a preview of what’s to come on the duo’s sophomore studio album, set for release later this year.
Maddie & Tae recently received a nomination for Duo of the Year at the upcoming ACM Awards, airing live on CBS on April 7. The duo will then kick off a massive tour run as the direct support on Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360, beginning May 1 in Greensboro, NC.
