Maddie & Tae Prepare For ‘Prank War’ with Dierks Bentley

Maddie & Tae, 19, are preparing to hit the road on Dierks Bentley’s Sounds of Summer Tour, which kicks off in just a few days. The duo, who is at radio now with the song “Fly,” is ready for a summer filled with good music and a few pranks.

“There’s going to be a big pranking war, too,” Maddie Marlow shares.

It all started when Bentley gathered fellow tour mates Kip Moore, Canaan Smith, and Maddie & Tae at a Nashville-area lake to “rally” everyone for the tour. They all went out on a boat into the freezing water, and he made them all jump in.

Moore was the first to retaliate. “Kip pranked Dierks and put a Billy goat in the back of his truck,” Marlow recalls.

She admitted she and Tae aren’t exactly the pranking kind, but says they are planning to get in on the fun somehow.

“We’re more prankees, so we gotta devise a little plan to get in this prank war,” she says.

The Sounds of Summer Tour kicks off June 5 in Raleigh, NC.
