They may be ‘Seeing Blind’ together, but Maren Morris and Niall Horan definitely visualize something lovely in the making through their new duet featured on the pop singer’s debut solo album, Flicker.

After Horan sent out a sincere email to the “My Church” singer, she happily obliged to join on his folk-inspired tune that revels on the casual love at first sight moment many hopeless romantics strive toward. With classic rock sounds reminiscent of The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac intertwined throughout the duet, Morris adds her soulful Southern vocals as the complimentary harmony to Horan’s calm Irish tone.

The lyrics, simplistic yet honest, chime back to the whirlwind concept of falling for someone the moment that eyes meet. As the chorus coos, “Oh, my, my, you just took me by surprise / And I can’t believe my eyes / Oh, I must be seeing blind / You’re too good to be all mine / Now I’m looking in your eyes / Oh, I must be seeing blind,” the two recreate the precious moment everyone anticipates throughout their love life.

“Seeing Blind” marks the first song that the two created with each other, but their ties run close together as Julian Bunetta, the co-writer of Morris’ duet with Thomas Rhett called “Craving You,” has been Horan’s producer and songwriting pal since his days in the boy band, One Direction.

The pair not only recorded a track for Horan’s project, but they also bonded enough to have him invite Morris out on the road for his massive tour in 2018. The Flicker World Tour will take the country singer around the world to places like Australia, Europe, North America and many more.

The Flicker World Tour will kick off in Dublin, Ireland, on March 12, 2018, and run through dates until September. More information about tour dates and tickets can be found on Maren’s official website.
