Maren Morris Celebrates Baby Shower Among Friends And Family

Maren Morris was surrounded by friends and family on Sunday (February 2) as she celebrated her baby shower. Morris stunned in a blue dress at the beginning of the party and later changed into cute overalls. She posted a photo of her and husband Ryan Hurd from the party, as well as photos of the decor.

Family in attendance included Morris’ mom, Kellie, her sister, Karsen, and Hurd’s family. A few of Morris’ fellow country singers were there as well, including Cassadee Pope, Lindsay Ell and RaeLynn. Photos posted by the guests also showed off the shower’s decor. There were baby photos of both Morris and Hurd, a sign that read “Baby Hurd,” cupcakes decorated with floral designs, a substantial bagel station, balloons, macrame, and champagne bottles that read, “Pop it when she pops!” Maren’s mother Kellie helped throw the shower and posted many of the photos on Instagram.

“We pulled off a perfect baby shower yesterday for @MarenMorris,” she wrote in one post. “Thanks to everyone who attended and made the day so special.”

Morris and Hurd were married in 2018 and announced their pregnancy on social media in October. Within the initial pregnancy announcement, Morris also revealed that the baby would be a boy.

“The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the ‘GIRL’ headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out,” she writes, referring to her single, “Girl.” “See you in 2020, little one.”

The baby is said to be due in late March.
