Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Announce Pregnancy

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are pregnant! The couple announced the news on Tuesday afternoon (10/22) with several photos posted to Twitter.
“The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the ‘GIRL’ headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one,” wrote the songstress with a photo of her cradling her little baby bump.
Added her singer/songwriter husband Hurd, “Look at her…can’t believe it. See you in March, baby!” Sticking to his hilarious sense of humor, Hurd also jokingly posted a GIF from the popular show Seinfeld, writing “MY BOYS CAN SWIM!!! BABY BOY HURD 2020!”
Each of the couple’s posts included sweet photos of the couple, highlighting Morris’ growing belly.
The couple have long talked about becoming parents, even referencing the prospect in previous posts to social media.
“Gonna have your babies,” Morris wrote a during a trip to Paris as a photo caption. She also noted that she looked forward to becoming a mom during a Twitter Q&A.
Morris and Hurd tied the knot in March 2018, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
The two have had very busy years. Morris just wrapped her GIRL: The World Tour and will open for Miranda Lambert’s Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour through November. In addition to releasing her own solo album, GIRL, Morris also teamed up with superstars Amanda Shires, Brandi Carlile and Natalie Hemby to form the supergroup The Highwomen and release their self-titled debut album. Hurd spent much of the year working on new music, including his Panorama and Platonic EPs. He also spent time out on the road for his own headlining tour.
