Maren Morris’ Son Gets First Pair of Cowboy Boots
These boots are made for toddlin'!
Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd’s son Hayes is not yet 2 years old, but he has already marked off a big milestone: getting his first pair of cowboy boots. Morris shared photos of the her family’s outing to buy their son his own boots in Fort Worth, Texas. The pictures show Hayes strutting in his new footwear as well as Hurd holding his son as the family of three look out on the picturesque town. Morris is from nearby Arlington, Texas.
“First pair of boots,” Morris wrote in the caption, alongside cowboy and horse emojis.
Morris did not share if she was in Fort Worth for work or to visit family, but she’ll be returning to the Lonestar State on Tuesday, March 8 to perform at the Houston Rodeo. The day before, on March 7, she will join her fellow country music stars in Las Vegas for the 57th ACM Awards. Morris will perform her latest single, “Circles Around This Town,” at the show. The track is the lead single from her upcoming third album, Humble Quest, out March 25. The project features 11 tracks that reportedly take their inspiration from the pandemic, the death of her beloved friend and producer, busbee, her family and more.
“So, here are the stories of my rises, my overshares, my appreciation for Midwestern guys who stand at least a foot taller than me, my lullabies, my wine-soaked conversations with a dear friend and my final goodbye to one,” she wrote in an album announcement on social media.
