Martina McBride Joins E!’s ‘Opening Act’ with Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley

As we told you last month, another reality singing competition is heading our way, only this time, aspiring singers are given the chance to open for country music superstars Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley as well as Nicki Minaj, Rod Stewart, LMFAO, and others.

Aldean and Paisley aren’t the only country music stars tied to the new show. Earlier this week, it was announced that Martina McBride will join “Opening Act’s” Artist Development Team. McBride will work alongside award-winning producer Nigel Lythgoe, Mary J. Blige, Pete Wentz, Jason Derulo, and Antonina Armato to comb the Internet to find the web’s most talented amateurs, then give them the once-in-a-lifetime chance to open for a top music superstar.

“Opening Act” premieres July at 10/9c on E!.
