McKenna Faith Looking Forward to the Blake Shelton Cruise
As you know, CountryMusicIsLove will be joining Blake Shelton and friends aboard the Norwegian Pearl Oct 14th-21st for a seven day cruise. One of the many artists that will be on board with us is 17-year-old McKenna Faith.
McKenna released her debut album Sugar and Spice in January 2011. While touring to promote her album, she has shared the stage with Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, and Luke Bryan (just to name a few). When we caught up with McKenna recently to discuss the cruise, one of the things we asked her is which artists she’s looking forward to seeing. She told us, “Blake Shelton, and hopefully Miranda Lambert – I mean, if Blake Shelton were my husband, I wouldn’t let him go to the Bahamas by himself for a week – so hopefully she’ll tag along, she’s one of my biggest influences.” Blake has promised that there will be surprises throughout the cruise, so maybe Miranda will be one of them?! Fingers crossed!

What are you looking forward to most about the cruise?
I’m most looking forward to going to the Bahamas and playing with so many incredible musicians- this is my first time going on a cruise, so that’s awesome enough, but the fact that I get to perform and meet so many new fans is just icing on the cake for me.
Are you looking forward to any ports or activities in particular?
We just started looking at all the excursions, but so far I’m pretty excited about bungee jumping in the Bahamas, zip lining on St. Thomas and all the shopping!
If we get shipwrecked what 3 items would you have to have?
My guitar because music is how I express myself and I’d go crazy if I couldn’t play, Go Girl Energy Drink because it’s delicious and I’m addicted, and my iPhone- I know it won’t have service but I could still listen to music and keep writing.
