Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary of finding forever homes for dogs around the country this year, and country fans can join the cause at the 2019 CMA Music Festival.
Lambert and her mother/fellow MuttNation founder Bev are teaming with the Nashville Humane Association to run a special booth at the festival, hoping to get as many dogs adopted as possible. And once you see these fluff balls up close, it’ll be hard not to take one home. Like little Alan Jackson here.
After leading a Mutt March of over 1,000 dog-loving fans and their pets from Nashville’s Nissan Stadium to Walk of Fame Park, Miranda’s MuttNation will bring some of the most adorable, adoptable pups on the planet to the floor of the Music City Center – and some of them will be named after famous country stars.
“Our goal is to raise awareness for shelter pets across the country while we find as many loving homes as possible for the incredible pups from Nashville Humane,” says Lambert, who has adopted eight rescue dogs herself. “So, if you’ve got a heartbeat, be prepared to fall in love the minute you see them.”
From Thursday (June 6th) through Sunday (June 9th), the playful pups will be on hand at Xfinity Fan Fair X – and fans can even catch a super cute puppy parade when the furry friends head to their booth each day.
“Nashville Humane is thrilled to partner with MuttNation again and can’t wait to join forces with the country fans to find more loving homes for our dogs,” said NHA’s Laura Chavarria, Executive Director.
The 2019 CMA Music Festival takes place in Nashville from June 6th – 9th and will feature non-stop live music from many of the biggest country stars in the world – much of which will be totally free.
