Meghan Linsey Auditions For ‘The Voice’

For those who tuned in to the Season 8 premiere of “The Voice” last night, you may have seen a familiar face. The face was that of Meghan Linsey, or one-half of the duo Steel Magnolia.

Singing Nazareth’s “Love Hurts,” Linsey was able to turn three of the four coaches chairs around. The lone coach… Blake Shelton…. someone Linsey has toured with before.

“Now I bet you feel extra bad, huh?” Adam Levine said to Shelton after hearing that detail.

“Actually no, I don’t, because if she hadn’t have picked me I’d have been really pissed off,” Shelton retorted. “She’s one of the best singers I’ve ever heard in my life.”

After the coaches made their cases to have Linsey join their team, she went with Team Pharrell.
