Michael Ray is adding the title of shoe designer to his impressive resume after creating his very own pair in hopes of giving back to his organization, Wrigley Cares.

The “Get to You” performer partnered together with Zappos and their charitable organization, Zappos for Good, to put the ‘Wrigley Cares Limited-Edition Puma Classic Suede’ shoe up for sale to benefit his very own philanthropic outlet. Utilizing fashion for a great cause, Ray hopes the endeavor will encourage fans to look stylish while fundraising for one of his passions.

“Zappos for Good has been such an incredible organization to work with on this project,” said Ray. “Not only have they given us the opportunity and the platform to promote a cause I’m so passionate about, but to be able to design a custom sneaker to benefit Wrigley Cares was amazing. They really do look at giving from a unique standpoint that provides value to the fans and the causes they’re passionate about.”

Ray started Wrigley Cares after the singer adopted his very own puppy just last year and started receiving gifts from his fans to give to his dog. Rather than just stack up a ton of unused items, he donated the extras to local shelters throughout his tour stops. Ray turned the idea into an initiative and has partnered with countless shelters to open up donation centers themselves for food and necessities to take the best care of pets.

Ray’s ‘Wrigley Cares Limited-Edition Puma Classic Suede’ shoes will become available for purchase soon. In the meantime, fans can look forward to the singer’s upcoming album, Amos, hitting shelves on Friday, June 1.
