Channeling Queen Bey herself, Mickey Guyton and her squad shine in the brand-new music video for “Sister.” Clad in gold from head to toe, Guyton toasts ride or die sisterhood with the friends who always have her back in the glittery clip, available today (9/17). Watch the golden visual below.

“They say it takes a village. Making this video was a labor of love. I’m so incredibly grateful to all of the amazing women that helped make this dream a reality,” Guyton gushed on Instagram. “When women support each other, incredible things happen.”

The empowering song, released this summer, celebrates the girls who have supported Guyton through the ups and downs of life, as she sings, “I’m your speed dial call. I’m your late-night cry. I’m your shotgun seat. Yeah, I’m your ride or die. Sister, you’re gonna hurt, but you ain’t gotta hurt alone.”

The video elevates her personal sisterhood to royal status, proving that sometimes queens don’t always wear crowns. Sounds Like Nashville was on set to catch up with the Texas-native before filming began. The singer hopes every woman recognizes a glimpse of themselves in her new music video.

“In my personal opinion, women are royalty. We are regal, and we don’t need a title,” Guyton told Sounds Like Nashville from the make-up chair in advance of the shoot. “We’re golden.”
