Trading the glitz and glam for a natural setting, the trio honored the spirit of their collaborative album The Marfa Tapes by gathering around a campfire at a rural cabin set adorned with string lights. Lambert’s voice shone alongside gentle harmonies from Ingram and Randall in the musical tribute to her beverage of choice that stands as a fan favorite off the collaborative project. “‘Cause he don’t love me like tequila does / Nobody can / He don’t give me that border town buzz / Like tequila does,” Lambert sang, decked out in western wear and a smile on her face all the while. “That was awesome,” CMT Awards co-host Kane Brown praised at performance end. “Nothing beats a good campfire session.”
