One performance on tonight’s 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards that is sure to be a fan favorite will be the Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley duet. While the GRAMMYs sometimes like to pair very different and diverse acts together, that’s not the case for Lambert and Bentley.

Having toured together in 2006, and again on the “Locked and Reloaded Tour” this year, Lambert told WinningFreePress.com that she’s relieved to share the stage with someone who she considers a friend. “It’s so cool to perform with someone that you’re comfortable with because you kind of lift each other up.”

Though they are incredibly comfortable performing together, the duo is also fighting off some nerves because many of the biggest names in music will be watching from the audience.”We’re going to be so nervous, but our bands are friends and we’re friends and at least we don’t feel like we’re up there alone,” Lambert explained. “But we’re glad to represent our genre together. We’re out there on the road doing it every night but we get to do it here in front of a ton of people we’re fans of.”

And who is Miranda a fan of, you ask? “Beyonce’s sitting in front of me and she’s always been one of my favorites, so I’m very excited.”

Lambert and Bentley are set to perform a medley of “Over You” and “Home.”

The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS from 8–11:30 p.m. (ET/PT) tonight. Check out a list of Country music’s nominees HERE.
