Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton’s Valentine’s Plans
With their wedding day just around the corner, you might think this Valentine’s Day would be extra special for Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. Not so fast says the groom-to-be.
“The Grammys have kind of screwed up Valentine’s Day for everybody here,” Blake told People magazine at the GRAMMY Awards last night. “We’re all going to get wasted tonight. I mean, we are. And we’re going to feel like crap. The last thing we’re going to want to do tomorrow is touch each other.”
Although she admits that it will be a low-key day, Blake’s bride isn’t letting him off the hook that easy! “We’re going to be exhausted and traveling home all night long. So, we’ll probably just be chill,” Miranda said. “But I’m not going to let him use that as a cop-out, definitely.”
One thing that Miranda is probably doing this Valentine’s Day morning is apologizing to her fiance! During her GRAMMY acceptance speech last night, she forgot to thank Blake. “I forgot!” Miranda exclaimed backstage after getting her award.
Miranda definitely needs to read the words that Blake spoke about her recently… we have a feeling it would completely make her Valentine’s Day!
