In a reference to the song’s lyrics, Braun continued, “I used to tape the countdowns every week, too and I predict Polaroid camera sales will skyrocket after hearing this song!”

Fans, who have waited almost three years for new music from Miranda, turned to Facebook and Twitter to express their excitement while Time Magazine exclaimed, “A huge new single from a consistently great country superstar,” and RollingStone.com called it, “vibrant rich storytelling.”
Gary Overton, Chairman and CEO of Miranda’s record label home, Sony Music Nashville, summed up the week, saying, “The immediate response to this song is phenomenal. It touches a chord in all of us: women, men, young, not-so-young. Miranda captured all of our occasional longing for a simpler, easier time that we remember in our not-too-distant past.”
“Automatic” is the first single from Miranda’s upcoming, fifth studio album. Miranda, the reigning, four-time ACM and CMA Female Vocalist, leads the nominations for this year’s ACM Awards which airs live from Las Vegas on CBS on April 6.
