Miranda Lambert and Elle King are coming together for a brand new duet called “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” out Friday, Feb. 26. Both artists have posted teaser video clips showing them having fun in the studio together while the song, which sounds like a fast-paced anthem about a fun night out, plays over the footage. King and Lambert also posted photos of the single art, which shows their photos next to one another with a funky, black and white background.

“There’s always time for jumpin’ off the deep end,” wrote King in the post featuring the single art.

The women first started raising questions about a possible collaboration on Monday (2/22) when Lambert posted an ‘80s-inspired photo of the two of them leaning up against a car — King wearing a puffy wedding dress and smoking a cigarette and Lambert wearing a coral-colored bridesmaids dress. King also posted a photo of herself and Lambert on Monday standing back-to-back and again channeling the ‘80s with pastel blazers, big hair and a colorful background.

“The whiskey goes down better when they don’t know who you are,” wrote King in the caption.

While “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” will be the first song the women will release from just the two of them, they are no strangers to collaborating. King was featured on Lambert’s all-female version of “Fooled Around And Fell In Love,” which took home the award for Musical Event of the Year at  the 2020 ACM Awards. The song also featured Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack. Lambert also took all the “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” women, including King, on her 2019 Roadside Bars And Pink Guitars tour.
