Country star Miranda Lambert is taking the business side of her career to the next level with the creation of Vanner Records in partnership with her label, Sony Music Nashville, to release her upcoming studio album, The Weight of These Wings.

Naming her own label imprint after the breed of horse she owns, Lambert plans to capitalize on this expansion in her relationship with Sony because of their journey together since her career kicked off in 2004. The “Vice” singer also resigned with the label to solidify her commitment to them and all of the work they’ve done together over the past 12 years.

“Re-signing Miranda to Sony Music Nashville and helping her create Vanner Records has been absolutely one of the highlights of my 15 months at Sony Music Nashville,” said Randy Goodman, Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Nashville in a press release. “Miranda as an artist represents everything we want to be as a record company and her energy and vision will help drive us forward as well.”

The Weight of These Wings is set to be Lambert’s sixth studio release and comes as a two-disc set filled with 24 tracks total. Her current single off the record, “Vice,” has been playing on country radio and making its way on the charts since its release earlier this year.

Fans can pre-order the album, which comes out on November 18, on digital music retailers now.
