Miranda Lambert Hopes to Build an Empire
Miranda Lambert has found her home at the top of the country music world. With hit songs, platinum albums, CMA, ACM and GRAMMY Awards under her belt, headlining tours, and a new marriage to longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton, it seems that Miranda has it all these days, but rest assured, Miranda is nowhere near being done yet. While she is proud of her accomplishments thus far, Miranda tells us that she plans on expanding her interests and hopes to build an empire.
Miranda certainly wouldn’t be the first female country star to expand on the success of her music. Reba has branched off to the world of TV and fashion, and has found success in both areas. Although she tells us she has no desire to do a TV show, Miranda agrees that Reba is a good person to emulate.
“Reba is exactly the right thing to say. That’s who I looked at, [Reba] and Dolly,” she tells us.
Perfume, make-up, cowboy boots, or whatever it is that will come into the world of Miranda Lambert, she makes one thing adamantly clear: her music will always come first.
“[I] just definitely want to keep on building on what I’ve been able to do with my music, and as long as the music is first, I’ll try anything.”
