It’s been quite a tumultuous week for Miranda Lambert, who officially split from husband Blake Shelton on Monday. Since the couple announced their divorce, they have been in the headlines non-stop, and speculation about what went wrong with their marriage continues to spread through the tabloids.

But that didn’t stop the reigning ACM and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year from supporting her BFF Ashley Monroe at her album release party on Wednesday night. The Texas native was on hand to help Monroe launch her much-anticipated new album, The Blade, and even joined her on stage to sing.

The pair sang “Heart Like Mine,” a song they co-wrote together with Travis Howard. Donning a black “Target dress,” simple jewelry (no rings), and a smile, Lambert was welcomed with cheers. Check out their performance below.

Lambert wasn’t the only special guest Monroe welcomed to the stage Wednesday night. Duo Striking Matches, songwriter Jessi Alexander, and country music legend (and The Blade co-producer) Vince Gill were also on hand to perform alongside the songstress.

Monroe’s new album, which has already received much critical acclaim, hits stores Friday.
